Dr. Abdul-Hameed Jibril Oyekan – Director

Dr Hameed is a senior consultant with his consulting interests focused on the fields of Knowledge Management, Public Sector Management, Project Management and Technology Management. Dr Hameed also teaches the Knowledge Management subject at the undergraduate and MBA levels at the University of Technology (UTS) Sydney, which he has done for over 10 years. He is a regular presenter at academic and professional conferences. Dr Hameed’s communication skills are also complemented by being a fluent speaker in several languages including Yoruba, Hausa, Indonesian, Malaysian and Arabic.

Dr Hameed’s consulting work involves the confluence of formal methodologies and techniques to facilitate the identification, creation, storage, development, dissemination and the utilisation of the various facets of an organisation’s knowledge assets. Being the focus of his doctoral thesis, he also consults on the use of web-enabled information technologies (e.g. Intranets, portals) and other non-technical mechanisms in enabling knowledge sharing and collaboration within and amongst organizations.

Dr Hameed’s consulting work experience includes holding the position of Consulting Project Manager (IT) at the Australian Derivatives Exchange (ADX), Sydney, Australia. He has also worked as the Research Manager at International Treasury Services (ITS), Australia. Dr Hameed has provided consulting services to several large organisations including a major multi-billion dollar public utilities organisation with more than 3,000 staff and the leading public children’s hospital in Australia.
